Forestry- Opportunities
Final PROGRAME
International Seminar: Emerging Opportunities in Forestry:
The case of Kenya
The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland has recently prepared a strategy/policy for the support of the Forest sector in development cooperation. This document constitutes a framework approach in the forest sector and lays down a blue print that guides how the Government of Finland engages with partners globally in the Forest Sector.
Kenya a partner country to Finland is moving towards the second stage of a bilateral forestry cooperation programme in support of forestry sector reform. The tendering process is currently ongoing.
In this seminar you will get to hear about the new forest strategy/policy and case specific interventions in the context of Kenya.
